IOFM’s AP & P2P Network Announces Sixth Annual Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay Spotlight Awards

PORTLAND, ME (PRWEB) June 22, 2016

AP & P2P Network announces its sixth annual AP & P2P Spotlight Awards. The awards, developed in 2010, recognize noteworthy achievements and outstanding efforts in financial operations. An awards ceremony announcing the winners will be held on Wednesday, October 26, at the Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo (October 24-26, 2016).

A total of four awards are open for nomination until August 1, 2016: AP Manager of the Year; AP Department of the Year; P2P Manager of the Year; and P2P Department of the Year. Nominations may be submitted by any person who wishes to recognize an Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay leader or department believed to go above and beyond the call of duty and believed to help their organization reduced costs associated with accounting processes.

“The AP and P2P functions are a critical component of every business, yet the hard work involved often goes under-recognized,” said Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of IOFM. “If your organization’s payables process is running smoothly, that means the people behind that process are a cut above average – and they deserve to be recognized for fulfilling such a tall order,” he added.

Nomination guidelines define a qualifying AP or P2P Manger as one who demonstrates excellent leadership skills, makes significant positive changes to their department, and implements new technologies that incur significant operational savings. Likewise, a qualifying AP or P2P department demonstrates excellent customer service, successfully streamlines processes and new technologies, and has recently cut costs resulting in better cash flow. Qualifying managers and departments are encouraged to nominate themselves.

Winners of each category will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 during the final day of IOFM’s AP & P2P Conference & Expo, October 24-26 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Each will receive complimentary registration to attend the conference. Experts from the AP & P2P Network and IOFM will review submissions and select award winners.
