Colin Brien is the founder of InfoReporting Solutions and has more than 20 years of experience in information reporting and withholding, developed during his career in Big Four public accounting. He specializes in U.S. reporting and withholding matters (Forms 1099 and backup withholding), as well as nonresident alien reporting and withholding (Forms 1042-S and section 1441 withholding). Colin also advises on compliance with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS).

Over the years, he has worked with large financial institutions, including private equity and asset management firms, as well as nonfinancial companies across industries such as media and entertainment, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and retail.
