IOFM Spring Conference and Expo

May 19-21, 2024 |  Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort  |  Lake Buena Vista, FL

Health & Safety

With the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to assure you that as we plan for the APP2P Spring 2023 conference, the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, staff, and speakers is our top priority. Please note the most recent updates from Walt Disney World Resorts for the most up-to-date health and safety protocols.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as updates and recommendations from public health officials, federal, state, and local authorities, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  We are in close collaboration with the Lake Buena Vista municipality and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort as they confirm and update their health & safety measures. Additionally, we are working with leading event industry associations globally as they develop the All Secure Standards guidelines for the events industry.

Our protocols will reflect the most current advice and best practices; please bookmark this page and check our website regularly for updates.

Currently, our measures include:

  • Health and Safety
    • Physical distancing in high traffic areas, session rooms, expo floor, and throughout the event space in accordance with local and venue regulations
    • Touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout
    • Facemasks will not be required for fully-vaccinated attendees, exhibitors and staff. Attendees and Exhibitors may bring their own, or disposable masks will be available as needed.
    • Handshake-free interactions
  • Clean Environments
    • Deep cleaning before, during, and after the event
    • Sanitation of high-traffic areas
    • Catering will employ the highest standard of food safety and pre-packaged food options
  • Emergency Protocols
    • Communication plan with event security, local officials, hospitals & healthcare providers
    • Protocol aligned with local government and health authority advice

In addition to our own protocols, we will also be closely following the health and safety requirements set by the the Lake Buena Vista municipality, and the
All Secure Standards, created with the guidance of event industry associations UFI, AEO, and SISO.

The value of an in-person, face to face experience is immeasurable and we are making every effort to ensure your experience at our event, while perhaps different from what we’ve come to expect, is safe, positive, and productive and helps you meet your business goals.

We encourage exhibitors and visitors to take preventive measures and review the links included below from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization:
