Health & Safety

With many things changing in the world right now, we want to assure you that as we continue to plan for the APP2P Spring 2021 conference, the health and safety of our exhibitors, sponsors, staff, speakers and attendees is our top priority.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as updates and recommendations from public health officials, federal, state, and local authorities, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  We are in close collaboration with the Orlando municipality and the Coronado Springs Resort as they confirm and roll out their re-opening plans. Additionally, we are working with leading event industry associations globally as they develop guidelines for the events industry.

Since this situation remains fluid, we will be adapting and expanding our plans. Our protocols will reflect the most current advice and best practices, so please check our website regularly for updates.

Our new measures will include:

  • Health and Safety
    • Physical distancing in high traffic areas, session rooms, exhibit floor, and throughout the event space in accordance with local & venue regulations
    • Increased touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout
    • Facemasks will be required for attendees, exhibitors and staff. Attendees and Exhibitors may bring their own, or disposable masks will be available as needed.
    • Handshake-free interactions
  • Clean Environments
    • Enhanced deep cleaning before, during, and after the event
    • Increased sanitation of high-traffic areas
    • Catering will employ the highest standard of food safety and pre-packaged food options
  • Emergency Protocols
    • Communication plan with event security, local officials, hospitals & healthcare providers
    • Protocol aligned with local government and health authority advice.

In addition to our own protocols, we will also be closely following the health and safety requirements set by Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, including:

    • Modified and enhanced housekeeping services
    • Temperature screenings before entry to some locations
    • Proper face coverings
    • Physical distancing, and barriers where distancing is difficult
    • Reduced contact through online services

The value of face to face is immeasurable and we are taking every effort to make sure your experience at our 2021 conference, while perhaps different from what we’ve come to expect, is safe, positive, and productive and helps you meet your business goals.

We encourage exhibitors and visitors to take preventive measures and review the links included below from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization:

We value the support of everyone involved in the making of this event: our vendors, the local authorities, the venue and, most of all, our partners, friends and customers in the financial operations industry. We are looking forward to getting this strong community back together in the near future. Until then, we send heartfelt thoughts to those who are affected by COVID-19.

Please continue to check our event website – (https://events.iofm.com/conference-spring/) – for updates as we move closer to APP2P Spring 2021.  We thank you for your partnership and we can’t wait to see you soon.
