Derrick Brown is an Accounts Payable Manager at FlatironDragados USA, Inc. which is part of the ACS Group, one of the world’s leading infrastructure companies.  

In his role as Manager at FlatironDragados USA, Derrick focuses heavily on leadership, best practices, process improvements, payment fraud prevention, vendor management, staff training and internal controls.

Derrick is a seasoned accounting professional with more than 20 years of experience, specifically in Accounts Payable across multiple industries including Healthcare, Real Estate, and Construction.  As a result, Derrick possesses a rich and varied perspective on how to grow as an AP leader.  

Derrick holds a master’s degree in accounting from Syracuse University, a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brooklyn College, and two IOFM certifications including an Accounts Payable Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager certification.  He currently serves as the Global Operations Liaison for the Northeastern regional chapter of IOFM.  
  
In his spare time, Derrick enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
