Peter Yu is a Certified Public Accountant with over two decades of experience as both an auditor with Grant Thornton Public Accounting Firm, as well as a professional consultant in the private sector. Peter has extensive experience providing CFO, Controllership and treasury functions to publicly traded and middle market companies, while also acting as an integral liaison between management executives and external auditors. In 2002, after a successful career with Grant Thornton LLP, Peter founded CPA By Choice with a vision of being a comprehensive accounting, advisory and consulting firm that can provide a total financial management solution for our various clients.
Peter has successfully and organically grown his firm while amassing a large and diverse client base that includes organizations of all sizes ranging from start-ups to well-established mid-market companies in multiple industries. Peter and his firm, CPA By Choice, celebrated 20 years of operations in the fall of 2022 and is looking forward to continued dynamic growth well into the future.
