Matt Becker is a small business owner in the Tampa Bay area where he owns two franchised PrideStaff offices with his wife. Their first office opened in Clearwater in 2014 and his second opened in Tampa in 2022. Their PrideStaff offices specialize in temp to hire and direct hire roles in the Tampa Bay area.  

Prior to opening his PrideStaff office, Matt was the Chief Operating Officer for the Tampa Bay Host Committee for the Republican National Convention in 2012. Earlier in his career he lived in Washington D.C. and worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and served in the Administration of President George W. Bush. Matt finished his service in the Bush Administration as the Deputy Chief of Staff and White House Liaison at the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Matt has been active in civic organizations in the Pinellas County area and currently serves as the Chair of the YMCA of the Suncoast and on the board of the Florida YMCA State Alliance. Matt has been married for over 20 years and has two children; one is a freshman at Michigan State University and the other is in high school.
