Missi serves as Director of Accounts Payable at Ball State University, leading an accounts payable and travel team of six employees, implementing process improvements, supporting procurement, and working closely with Internal Audit regarding policies to help strengthen internal controls. She holds the Accounts Payable Manager certification through IOFM and is a CPA with over 35 years of accounting experience spanning public accounting, trust and estate administration, and higher education finance. She offers expertise in financial management, compliance, and operational leadership.

During a decade devoted to raising her children, Missi built and operated a successful tax and accounting practice, providing tax preparation, payroll services, and small business accounting. This entrepreneurial experience strengthened her skills in client relationship management, business development, and operational oversight. Committed to ethical standards, continuous learning, and mentorship, Missi brings technical depth and practical insight to financial challenges.

Missi serves on the Board of her local Community Foundation.  She loves to spend time with her two grandchildren, help run the family farm, crochet and bake.
