Structure Suggestions

• Brief introductions
  • Be mindful not to spend the entire time here, especially if you have a large room
• Split your room up into even smaller groups, rotate questions in a speed dating style
  • Create opportunities for more intimate discussions, especially if you have a large room
• Be mindful of who is participating in the conversation
  • Are there any individuals dominating the conversation? Has everyone who wants to talk been given the opportunity to engage?

Structure Example from a Previous Moderator:

“I ended up separating that group into 3 topics/areas of discussion – People, Process & System. Each person joined the conversation they were most interested in. Halfway through I gave them the opportunity to continue the conversation or switch to talking about an opportunity as opposed to a challenge.”
