Unclaimed Property is an efficient and effective method for states to raise revenue without raising taxes on its constituents, and jurisdictions are doubling down on their enforcement of these statutes. In this session, we plan to overview the basics of unclaimed property law, discuss the unclaimed property compliance process, as well as share our team’s experiences on emerging trends in the audit and VDA landscape.
